Krylon Bold
was used to create environmental signage in the Graphic Design portion
of RISD’s 2008 Graduate Student Exhibition. In homage
to the type’s original purpose, the signs were made
as stencils and spray painted onto the gallery walls.
Bright masking tape was used to created the floor sign.
I was also responsible for the design of the exhibition's
Book Wall. Small works were hung with binder clips from
a series of horizontal wires. While each piece alone
would have been dwarfed by the huge gallery space,
the grouping made a strong visual impact.
